Data Engineer

Duties/Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines for both structured and unstructured data.
• Automate data ingestion from internal and external sources into the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
• Optimize workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Monitor and validate data ingestion processes to ensure integrity.
• Develop and maintain data models and schemas to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with ERP, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure and efficient data operations.
• Implement data validation, cleansing, and monitoring procedures.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for data flows, architecture, and lineage.
• Partner with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to understand and fulfill data requirements.
• Provide technical support for data-related service requests and troubleshooting.
• Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

The gross annual salary range for this position is $130,000 - $145,000.

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Python, and data pipeline frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt).

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka) and AI/ML integration.
• Experience ingesting data from ERP systems.
