How you’ll contribute to deliver distinctive retail solutions
The Product Development Manager - Electronics is accountable for achieving sales and margin goals for existing and new products by developing and executing merchandising, promotional, and marketing tactics to support business objectives. This role is focused on the electronics line of business and the primary functions include overseeing the development, communication, and execution of a rolling product roadmap for key strategic electronics categories that provide a steady stream of new products. To best manage the new product pipeline and grow sales you will work closely with partners from Sourcing, Procurement, Project Management, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to deliver products and selling strategies that differentiate SRP from the competition.
You will lead the development of product specifications and oversee key projects; define and develop new innovative packaging systems for new and existing product categories; set specifications and guide sourcing resources to ensure products meet feature, quality, and timeline expectations; mange the end-of-life process to smoothly transition to future best sellers with comprehensive exit planning; develop selling strategies and execute all merchandising, promotional, and marketing tactics, including name generation, trademarking, and identity development.

The annual gross base salary range is $90,000 - $120,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
In this role a bachelor's degree is required and the ideal candidate will have a background in Electronics, Accessories or Consumer Tech. Relevant category experience is a must and a minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience is required. You will need to have strong analytical and financial skills supported by software knowledge (Excel and PowerPoint) to be successful in this role.
