Platinum Level Service
The Manger, Product Management is accountable for achieving sales and margin goals for existing and new products by developing and executing merchandising, promotional, and marketing tactics to support business objectives. This is a business focused role, primarily overseeing the development, communication, and execution of a rolling product roadmap. He/she will focus on key strategic categories within the electronics category to provide a steady stream of new products. To best manage the new product pipeline and grow sales of existing items, the Manager, PM will work closely with a cross functional teams including partners from Sourcing, Procurement, Project Management, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to deliver products and selling strategies that differentiate SRP vs. the competition.
Strategic Planning Create a rolling product road map in key categories aligned with role designation. Determine the product / quality positioning in supported categories through competitive benchmarking and equivalent benchmarking. Incorporate customer insights into strategy and product development. Communicate new product road maps to leadership team and key stakeholders
Lifecycle Management Manage new product development for all new products. Study best practices of competitors, vendors and attend relevant trade shows. Lead development of product specifications and oversee key projects to ensure they provide sales growth, margin expansion, and/or market differentiation. Work with internal and external market research teams to ensure the voice of the customer is incorporated into new products. Define and develop new packaging systems for innovative products and new and existing categories. Set specifications and guide sourcing resources to ensure products meet feature, quality, and timeline expectations. Mange the end-of-life process to smoothly transition to future best sellers with comprehensive exit planning.
Demand Generation Activities Develop selling strategies and execute all merchandising, promotional, and marketing tactics intended to deliver budgeted sales and margin in the assigned categories. Partner with Marketing to create key marketing materials, as well as category and product specific briefs for promo and everyday products. Work with cross functional team to execute elements of the cohesive go-to-market plan across multiple channels and vehicles.
Brand Development Maintain brand stewardship of all brands and other exclusive products in our portfolio. Ensure all customer touch points for the brand support our overarching brand positioning and support critical customer needs within the Eyewear product category. Partner with Marketing for sub-brand development including name generation, trademarking, and identity development.
Associate Development Provide coaching, insights, and motivation along with constructive feedback to team members. Foster shared learning across organizational boundaries. Create a climate that inspires development and in which risk-taking in pursuit of learning is valued.
In this role a bachelor's degree is required and an MBA is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a background in electronics. Relevant category experience is a must and a minimum of 7 years of experience is required. You will need to have strong analytical and financial skills supported by software knowledge (Excel and PowerPoint) to be successful in this role.

The annual gross base salary range is $90,000 -$130,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies.
