For this role, we’ll look to you to:
- Directly manage supervisors and team leads to ensure work is completed effectively and efficiently.
- Define objectives to ensure the distribution center is picking, packing, and shipping accurate orders to customers.
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly KPI performance with teammates to conduct root cause analysis and development solutions to bring all KPI’s above targets.
- Develop additional performance measurements and internal auditing processes to evaluate operations efficiency and quality.
- Ensure teammates are equipped to perform assigned tasks effectively and efficiently in compliance with safety standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing for all areas within the distribution center.
- Build strong and effective working relationships with other company departments and directorates.
- Drive a continuous improvement culture where teammates are both providing and implementing ideas to further optimize operations focusing on 5S, Six Sigma, and LEAN methodologies.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure and accident-free work environment.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and development to team members, including performance evaluations, and recognition.

The estimated gross annual salary range is $65,000 to $72,500 annually. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
Qualifications
Experience/Qualifications:
- Sound understanding of LEAN principles and methodologies. Six Sigma Green Belt certification with proven history of managing process improvements in an industrial setting (warehouse, production, logistics, and/or distribution environments).
- Willingness to attend and acquire a Green Belt Six Sigma Certification within the first 3 months if not already certified.
- 4+ years’ experience leading teams within a DC environment to include fulfillment, production, shipping, and quality assurance.
- Experience with fulfillment to various customer models (CPG, Ecommerce, Direct to Store, vendor direct, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability prioritizing work assignments and adjusting on the spot as opportunities present during the shift.
- Demonstrated ability achieving positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost, and teammate relations
- Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel) and WMS required, Oracle preferred
- Possess strong interpersonal communication skills
